More on the Comcast thing
Had three messages stuck in my queue. Stuffed in my Verizon aircard and BAM (well, bam as fast as dial-up, I live a little too far north to get “broadband speed”) all three messages that had been stuck waiting went out without a hitch. Rebooted and decided to boot to the long languished Debian Sarge install partition on my laptop and see what happens there. Setup Evolution to connect to the office mail server and try to send 2 pictures out (about a total of 120K) and it’s failed twice now. Using Comcast’s mail servers it works fine, but anything else (this doesn’t just apply to mail, this is just the easiest thing to test) craps all over itself.
At this point I think it is safe to say it is a Comcast issue somewhere, what exactly, I have no freaking clue. Might be time to call Speakeasy considering I live about 3000 ft from my CO.
