Dogfish Head – Shelter Pale Ale
New beer of the day, Dogfish Head – Shelter Pale Ale. Sorry to say, pretty crappy. Starts out nice, but the finish is horribly hoppy! It was cheap (compared to what I normally drink) at only $6.99 for the six pack, but I think I might have overpaid. I’m writing this as I try to finish my first bottle of the bunch. Decidedly not as good as my last beer selection, and possibly the worst one I’ve tried on the blog here so far. Probably going to stay away from the Dog Fish stuff for a while and give some other brewers a try next time I go over. Got a couple of trips on tap between now and the end of the year, so I’ll try and nail down some local beers when I get out to the places I’m visiting.
