Anchor Brewing - Liberty Ale

Well, my quest to try different beers is over. Now don’t think I won’t try new stuff, but I did just pick up a nice six pack of my regular brew from Anchor Brewing. Their Libery Ale has been my regular beer for about 18 months or so now, and has become the benchmark by which I judge most other beers. It is a strong Ale that is a bit on the bitter side, but still quite smooth and drinkable. The taste is very distinct, and something I’ve never quite been able to put my finger on. Even though it is only rated at 6% alcohol, I tend to wonder on occassion, mostly because I’ve gotten quite the buzz off just a couple of them on more than one occassion. This is a beer worth trying and has been sampled previously on Diggnation.

SetPerm - Exchange Mailbox Permissions Utility

Found this awesome little free utility on the net today while looking for a way to manage Exchange mailboxes and not have to rely on the users to set their sharing properties on Calendars and what not. It’s not glamorous, and might put some people off, but it does its job so there is no complaining here. Basically it does what it says: it allows you to set the permissions on individual standard folders within an Exchange Mailbox. Downside, you still need the username and password for each mailbox. So this would be useful at setup of a mailbox, unless you feel like willy nilly changing user passwords. Still a very useful free tool.

A local mirror is available here for download as I already forgot where I downloaded the program from.
