Comcast Strikes Again!
So I tried getting my email at work when I got home this evening only to have it time out. Then I noticed an IM from one of the guys saying that our office was down and that a tracert from his house ends in a loop. Steve has Verizon DSL so I ran my own test and we compared just to make sure it wasn’t some wierd Verizon deal… same issue. My tracert never leaves Comcast’s network because both our office and I have Comcast as our ISP. It’s usually 4-5 hops to our office. Tonight we’ve been getting this:

So as you can obviously see, Comcast Routing issue. And of course, as usual, with any major technical issue, the Tier 1 monkey knows nothing, and doesn’t want to bother pushing it up the ladder. So we’ll just have to see what happens… no ETA, no nothing. More proof that we need a more reliable ISP at the office, cause Comcast just doesn’t cut it on the reliability end. I’m stilling waiting for that big T3 I asked for 6 months ago (when one dreams, one should dream big!).
