Domain Virtual Host Response
Finally fixed a real minor bug that had all the sites on the host server I’m on respond with the “default” site if you didn’t use the www subdomain. All good now.

Both of the above should return the blog now. I really should have fixed this sooner.
We use the Symantec-branded (Read: not norton-branded) enterprise antivirus deployed across the network and I must say I can’t believe the stark contrast in these product lines. While there is the yearly fee, with this stuff I don’t even need a product key and it runs silently in the background. It’s not a memory hog and doesn’t have a billion flying windows coming up from its task tray icon letting me know “system’s normal!”. I’ve installed the Norton stuff on my boss’s wife’s machine and couldn’t believe how slow and nasty it was. Granted the Symantec-branded stuff isn’t cheap and you can’t just get it the enterprise stuff off the shelf, but you’d think the Norton team could learn a thing or two about deployment and resource handling.
