So I just realized after all this time that my blog doesn’t have a Next Page and Previous Page setup in my theme I’m using. Hacked out a quick fix, might eventually integrate it properly in my theme. DOH!

So a couple weeks ago I joined up with Prosper.com, which is an internet person to person lending site. It’s a neat idea in concept and I had an extra $100. So I joined up, sent in my money and starting sifting through loans. I finally came across this loan for a guy trying to buy his 6th franchise with 1-800-905-Geek. Geeks on Call (800905GEEK before the stupid name switch) was a former employer of mine and the corporate office and I never quite saw eye to eye, so in a way to me funding this guys loan is kinda a way of sticking it to them. Not to mention for me to make money. =D

So I guess I technically now own a portion of a GOC franchise for the next three years or until the loan is paid off… of course it still boggles my mind why he would need a loan if he’s making $15K in profit a month, but no one ever said all the GOC owners were brilliant. As it seems they monitor Technorati (most likely), or another blog aggregation site I’m sure they’ll read this, which makes me giddy… all I can say in the end though, I don’t miss Residential calls.
